Seems that a comment made to the Boston Globe by David Friend, Brookline’s transportation chief has a few town meeting members in a lather. About TMM Martin Rosenthal, Friend says:

Check out this e-mail chain with Selectman Michael Merrill. Apparently, it never occurred to Merrill that using campaign funds to promote your law firm is not a good idea.
Then again, why should the campaign be any different than holding office to these guys?
