Good news for those on the Brookline public payroll who live in Boston (and they are legion) - their property tax burden is being reduced, according to the Globe.

Gee, in these times when the town hall team tells us that they are strained to provide services to taxpayers (i.e., “we need more taxes through a Proposition 2.5 over-ride”), town managers seem to have a lot of time to apply for awards from their peers.
