Today’s endorsement of Barak Obama by Senator Edward Kennedy has me glum.
See, I figured that a Hillary Clinton presidency would mean good things for Brookline - mostly because I thought it meant that Brookline Selectman Jesse Mermell would cash in the chits earned from her campaign work (done at the expense of her public duties) and join Team Clinton in Washington.
Now it looks like the big mo is going to Obama, and that means we’re stuck with Jesse for two more years.
Oh, the audacity.
