Well, I guess after raising all kinds of fees on residents, the Town of Brookline’s finances are back on track. And soon, so too will be the golf carts at the municipal golf course.
Here’s an item from next Tuesday’s Selectman’s meeting agenda:
“Question of awarding and executing Contract No. PW/07-15 ‘Construct Cart Paths @ Putterham Golf Course’ in the amount of $110,360.00 with Ronald A, Marini Corp, of Newton.”
Remember the $110 thousand golf paths when the Brookline Selectmen and Town Administrator Richard Kelliher kick off their scare campaign in support of a Proposition 2.5 over-ride in the fall.

Instead of political fore play, how about a little fiscal fore-sight?
[...] Wouldn’t it be a great idea to raise taxes so that we can build more golf paths? The Brookline Selectmen appear to think so. [...]
