Archie has another installment in his “World of Brookline Zoning series [click here to read]. Oh, and what a magical world it is.

When it comes to affordable housing Brookline Town Meeting and the Selectmen have created a spell book (of local zoning regulations) that can be mixed to keep the hoi poloi out of a luxury condo development (or other multi-resident development) under the State’s Anti-snob Law (known as Chapter 40B).

  1. For those interested in this installment, I have posted a comment thereto that addresses legal challenges to Brookline’s Bylaw on affordable housing. I may make further comments. I hope others make thoughtful comments.
