I’m hearing about events a few years back that ought to prove to Brookline residents that the politicization of the Brookline PD is not a recent event.
Sure, a lot has come to light in the past few months - as in the police chief and town administrator smearing Selectman Gil Hoy on rumored “contact with police”, the obstruction of Arthur Conquest’s civil rights and the special relationship between the Department and the law firm of Selectman Robert Allen.
But there’s an arrest from a few years back I’m hearing about and the person involved floored me with a piece to the story today.
