Looks like the St. Aidan’s “Design Advisory Group” (DAG) will be meeting on September 6th to discuss “minor changes to the project” [see listing here].

That ought to be a hoot and a holler.

Maybe the DAG can tell us why tearing down the historically significant church rectory - without a permit to do so - is only a minor change to the site. Maybe the DAG can show us how parking at the housing project is going to materialize out of thin air. Maybe the DAG can tell us why, after burning through $1 million in public funds to (recklessly) retrofit the church building into condo units, we should want to give the Boston Archdiocese more cash.

Put on your Groupthinking caps and join the DAG on September 6th.

I know I will.

  1. Duncecaps or the Saturday Night Live Coneheads may be a more fitting description.
