It’s this site’s mission to both edify and empower. To that end, I’ve added a new feature to On Brookline called, “Other Views and Voices.”

The idea is to address the policies and political matters that affect the long-term prospects for our little burgh.

First up is a series by (the very good friend of On Brookline) Archie (Arshag) Mazmanian. If you’ve paid attention to L’affaires de Brookline, you know Archie. His series in the Brookline TAB on the nonsensical indemnification of the Brookline DPW Commissioner was impressive in both its scope and its tenacity.

In this series, Archie takes on the Town’s feeble whistleblower policy. The policy was 13 years in the making, and probably would have been delayed longer than that were it not for Archie asking whether one existed.

You can find the first installment here.
