Strange Doings.

The trade magazine Banker and Tradesman has a story up on the Town of Brookline and Boston Archdiocese’s St. Aidan’s housing project [you need to subscribe to read the story]. Or should I say the Town of Brookline’s housing project?
This has to be one of the strangest stories I’ve read in some time. Two of Brookline’s housing officials Fran ‘The Snitch’ Price and Roger Blood are the only sources quoted in the piece. Except for an e-mail quote from the developer, the Church appears to have nothing to say about their project…no details on construction, no details on financing and no details on final design plans.
It’s probably just more tax-payer financed PR for developers, but it strikes me as odd that a developer ready to break ground in September is skirting the very friendly trade press.
