Another Chip on the Dung Pile.

For those readers visiting in search of the Brookline Police Department’s report from an internal investigation (covering allegations of racial bias from the Brawl at Town Hall and due out today), I don’t have it. I’ll probably get a copy of the report; but I’m not sure I’m going to post it any time soon, mostly because it will likely amount to another chip on the dung pile thrown from the windows of Brookline Town Hall.

cartman.jpegWe already know the report’s conclusion - no impropriety was found. And we know that it doesn’t address the role that ZBA member Lawrence Kaplan and Town Counsel Jennifer Dopazo appear to have played in using police officers as instruments to exact an instant revenge on those who questioned their authoritah (as Eric Cartman might put it).

And it says something about Brookline town government that George Driscoll, the lawyer preparing (i.e., sanitizing) the report for public consumption, is an associate in Dopazo’s chop shop of legal fabrication. It says that your town government is in full self protection mode, and that we’d all be well served to find out why that’s the case.

  1. If Judge Mukasey fails to be approved as Attorney General by the US Senate, George W just might look for a replacement nominee fromTown Counsel’s office to prolong torture, as least of the political variety.
